Abstract

Indoor farming can produce food with sustainability benefits via urbanisation and removing some of the pressure from traditional agriculture. However, efficiency and scalability can be improved by programming the management of environmental circumstances. This project is intended to generate a Smart Indoor Farming system that uses IoT and AI to fully automate crop monitoring as well as real-time adaptive management of conditions. The system integrates displays for temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity. It practices AI algorithms for predictive analytics and automatic decision making through Fuzzy logic, as well as anomaly detection feedback loops. Aquaculture is a type of cultivation, also called fish farming. Basically, it is a cultivation of aquatic organisms like fish and plants under an environment that is controlled by using technologies. In smart indoor farming, we integrate the aquaculture with modern tools such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things), which are used for controlling and monitoring the temperature, water quality, oxygen level, and the schedule of oxygen. It also ensures the health of fish and a higher yield of crops. We can use the Tilapia and Catfish in this system because of their abilities to grow efficiently in a controlled environment. AI and IoT not only increase productivity but also minimize human error and reduce resource wastage.
