Abstract

The rise of Financial Technologies (FinTech) has revolutionized the financial services sector, introducing innovative solutions such as digital payments and blockchain. These technologies have provided unprecedented convenience and efficiency, yet they have also introduced significant cybersecurity risks. As the digital finance landscape expands, cyber threats targeting digital payment systems and blockchain networks have escalated, leading to concerns about data breaches, fraud, and system vulnerabilities. This paper explores the intersection of cybersecurity and FinTech, focusing on how blockchain technology enhances the security of digital payments and financial transactions. It examines the cybersecurity challenges within digital payment platforms and blockchain systems, evaluating current security measures, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in strengthening financial security. By analyzing the existing vulnerabilities and proposing advanced cybersecurity strategies, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of securing the future of digital payments and blockchain, ensuring trust, transparency, and privacy in the evolving digital finance ecosystem.
